Mobile App Development

iPhone, iPad, and Android apps for your customers, your members, and the people who keep your operation running, built together with the back office and integrations behind them.

What our apps do

Apps people depend on at work and at home

Most of the apps we build are one part of a larger system. The app is what people hold. The back office, payments, and integrations behind it are what make it dependable.

Customer and member apps

Sign-in, profiles, messaging, video, and payments, plus the admin console your staff run it from. Positive Athlete's app connects high school athletes, coaches, and schools across the country.

Field and frontline apps

Apps that keep working without signal, on the hardware the job already uses. iTickets event staff scan tickets and NFC wristbands on phones and rugged handheld scanners, and every scan syncs when the network returns.

Employee apps

Company news, the staff directory, benefits, and time-off requests in one app behind Microsoft sign-in. We rebuilt The Connor Group's employee app and shipped it under the existing store listings, so employees simply updated.

Payments and devices

Card readers and receipt printers at the point of sale, voice-driven apps for AR smart glasses in commercial kitchens, tablets and kiosks, and an Apple TV subscription app.

I can’t say enough good things about this team.
It was great to work with a team in the design process that was willing to learn all about the service we provided to clients so they could help make a streamlined design that looked amazing and checked all the boxes of features needed.

Choosing the technology

Flutter, native, or React Native, chosen for your product

We are not attached to one framework. We recommend the approach that fits your users, your devices, and the team that will own the app after launch, and we explain the tradeoffs before you commit.

Flutter

One codebase for iPhone, iPad, and Android with a native feel. It suits most business and consumer apps, and most of the apps we have shipped in recent years use it. We are a verified Flutter partner.

Native Swift

For products built around Apple hardware and platform features: iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. We also write Swift modules inside Flutter apps when a device feature needs it.

Native Kotlin

For Android-first products and specialized Android hardware, such as the rugged handheld scanners used at event gates and warehouses.

React Native

A good fit when your team already works in React and wants to share people and code between your web product and your mobile app.

How a mobile project runs

From first conversation to the app store and beyond

These stages overlap. The people who scope your app are the people who design and build it, and they stay with it after launch.

  1. 01

    Scope

Agree on who uses the app, what it must do on day one, which devices and systems it touches, and the fixed fee for the first release.

  2. 02

    Design and build

Designers and engineers work side by side from the first week on the app, its back office, and its integrations, testing with real users as the product takes shape.

  3. 03

    Launch

Prepare the store listings, take the app through App Store and Google Play review in your accounts, and plan the release so your team and your users are ready.

  4. 04

    Improve

Watch how people use the app, fix what slows them down, and keep adding features at the pace your business needs.
